The Opel brand does not produce its own converted van, but it has partnered with Alpincamper to create conversions based on the Opel Vivaro van (available in two versions: Vivaro 2 and Vivaro 4), as well as the Opel Combo van (which we will cover in the last part of this page).
For the smaller Opel camper van Vivaro 4, a rear bench is available to accommodate a family: the Opel converted van allows travel and sleeping for 4 people, notably thanks to the roof tent. Both beds measure 120 x 195 cm each. Curtains are placed on each window to maintain privacy, and a carpet covers much of the Opel converted van for insulation. A kitchen unit, sink, and compressor refrigerator are included in this version.
For the Opel converted van Alpincamper Vivaro 2: like the Vivaro 4, it has a pop-up roof, but this one does not include a bed. It is simply for standing up inside the Opel converted van. Unlike the other version, the kitchen unit has two burners with electric ignition (the other one uses gas). The rest of the conversion remains similar to the previous version.
What is the price of an Opel converted van by Alpincamper?
The price of a new Opel converted van is not listed on the Alpincamper website. However, the used price is around €56,000. The price varies depending on the version you choose.

What is the best Opel converted van?

Two concepts are offered for this Opel converted van. The Lite concept features a panoramic roof, a decent sleeping area, and swiveling seats. The Full concept has a panoramic pop-up roof with a bed, multifunctional kitchen, an easy-to-clean floor system, and is very durable. Both concepts for this converted van allow you to choose depending on your budget. The price for this conversion is around €70,000.
Crosscamp on an Opel Movano
This true Opel motorhome has many advantages (especially thanks to the interior living space). It includes a full set of equipment, including an interior shower (which can also be used outside), a trunk system at the rear to store belongings, a 70L refrigerator, a double sofa-bed, storage, and more... We made an appointment, Mathieu welcomed us warmly and showed us around the workshop, then we went to the selection area to recap and make the quote. We had all the necessary technical explanations as well as his advice and feedback. The guy is sincere and super professional. Our choice validated, he helped us throughout the time needed to set up the modules. Again, lots of advice and tips, thanks to him.
