How to Convert Your Renault Kangoo into a Campervan?
Transforming your Kangoo into a campervan is simple; just one person can install our conversion kit in 5 minutes.

Our solution includes:
- A technical floor placed on the ground with holes to hold the conversion modules
- Cubes that are positioned and secured (wing nuts, no tools required) into the floor to arrange your Kangoo as desired
- Endless combination possibilities depending on your needs: cooler, kitchen, bike rack, shower...

You can choose between a single bed or a double bed. Yes, that's also part of Combeing—customize your kit according to your desires and your vanlife style!

Renault Kangoo 1 Converted into a Campervan
Renault released the first generation of the Kangoo 1 in October 1997. This model was produced until 2007 and became an alternative to compact MPVs with a large loading capacity.

The Kangoo 2 Converted into a Campervan
The production of the Kangoo 2 started in 2007 and continued until 2021. The concept became popular, and Renault decided to update the design of the Kangoo to meet modern trends. For Combeing, it doesn't matter, our kit adapts regardless of the external design!

A Two-Seat Renault Kangoo Converted into a Van
This is the most classic and easiest conversion.
Indeed, it's based on a utility vehicle, and we just need to install a conversion kit in the back of the vehicle.
Simply ensure your floor is level (no partially folded seats), as our technical floor requires a flat surface.

For larger vehicles like the Kangoo Maxi 5-seater, we offer a van conversion kit that provides more possibilities with configurations that enhance the comfort inside the Kangoo van.

What are the Renault Kangoo Van Models?

We equip ALL Kangoo models and versions, including:
- The Ludospace (tourism version), both Kangoo Ludospace L1 and L2
- Kangoo 1, L1 and L2 lengths
- Kangoo 2 Express compact, Express, and Express Maxi

You’ll just need to purchase a new floor for 200-300€, and the modules will fit the new vehicle. You keep your Kangoo conversion for life!
What is the Price of a Converted Renault Kangoo Van?
If you opt for our Kangoo conversion solution, you will need to budget around 1500-3000€ to transform your ludospace into a van.
However, if you prefer a custom conversion on the market, expect to pay around 40000-50000€.
It’s up to you depending on your travel profile. Our Kangoo conversion solution is designed for users looking for a van that allows them to access remote areas in nature. They can take shelter and cook inside the Kangoo van in bad weather, but the vehicle remains secondary—the primary goal is:
- Accessing nature in complete discretion
- Transporting sports equipment
- Going on weekend hikes and resting in their mini van at night
- Returning to their utility or ludospace whenever they want by removing the kit in 5 minutes
- Using the utility vehicle as the primary vehicle to avoid having to buy a dedicated travel van
- Saving money on the purchase to enjoy the journey: camping with hot showers, local restaurants, etc...
The Combeing spirit is all about traveling while respecting nature, which is so dear to us.
The Electric Hippie Caviar Motel Van Prototype from Renault
No need to look for it to buy yet; this electric Kangoo van hasn’t been released yet.
However, let’s introduce its features, but keep in mind that this is a prototype of a converted Kangoo van, and there will always be adjustments between forecasts and reality (just like the weather).

This Kangoo is in line with the Hippie Caviar Hotel van, its big brother, which is based on a Renault Trafic.
Renault is increasingly interested in the campervan world, especially small models like ludospace vans that are becoming more popular for their compact size, making them easy to maneuver.
Indeed, these small utility vehicles, real all-terrain vehicles, have no limits (low toll prices, no height barrier problems, underground parking, etc.)
On the downside, storage space is limited in this electric Kangoo E-Tech converted into a van. Living comfort is restricted, imposed by the physical dimensions of the mini Kangoo van from Renault.

Normally, the finishes of this converted Kangoo would be:
- 100% electric motor with 90kW power
- 285km range thanks to a 45kWh lithium-ion battery
- Zero CO2 emissions with energy-efficient heating, increasing the Kangoo’s range
- A bench that turns into a bed
- A sunroof for the Kangoo
- Some storage compartments
- A ski rack, an external storage pocket, and a waterproof external box
