Thank you for choosing Combeing!
Thanks to you, we have set up a network of local businesses with 4 carpentries, an expert in foam work, and seamstresses. They are all located less than 30km from us.
We use French poplar to manufacture our boxes.
We work with 3 ESATs (Balbigny, Feurs, and Montbrison) in our production process (assembly of boxes, production of shipping pallets, etc...)
3 people with disabilities from ESAT also come to our premises to carry out meticulous finishing work on our products.

If your vehicle is a commercial van
A wood or plastic subfloor is required to support our technical floor.

If your vehicle is a passenger vehicle
Just make sure your rails/seat attachments do not create any height difference. (Contact us)

Floor Installation
The Combeing logo must be visible at the rear of the vehicle.

The floors are not customized down to the millimeter for your vehicle, the purpose of the technical floor is to cover the "modular area".
You need to join the floors using dowels (wooden pegs)

The principle of universal floors may require dimensional adjustments and altimetric packing at the user's expense (for example, if there is a step).
Floor Maintenance
Maintenance of raw floor
- Varnishing
- Oil treatment
- Varnish
- Linoleum
- Paint

Maintenance of laminated floor
- Cleaning with a damp cloth

Module Fixation
Modules must be properly connected to each other and to the floor before fastening (screwing)
Modules should be handled by gripping the boxes at the 3 holes on the side intended for this purpose, avoiding pinching the hands during handling.
Before trips, we recommend screwing the modules together and onto the floor with one or more bolts depending on the weight of each module.

Module fixation is done via a wing bolt.

The wing bolt can be replaced by a flat head bolt, when necessary, in a box containing a water jug for example.

Screwing and tightening should be done manually, to avoid damaging the mechanical properties of the fixation. Any screwing using tools is forbidden.
Appropriate Assembly Types
The appropriate assemblies during travel are those that allow always securing the boxes together and to the floor by bolting.

Furthermore, to ensure stability during travel, stacking the modules must not exceed a height of 2 modules.
Inappropriate Assembly Types During Travel

The assembly of two half-boxes on top of each other, or a half-box on a wheel arch, in a continuous arrangement is only possible if they are not too heavy.
Assemblies on 3 levels are not suitable for ensuring the proper hold of our products, especially during travel.

It is not possible to stack another box or the table on a box with a top opening.
These types of assemblies may damage the affected modules and render them unsuitable for use.

(With our wheel arches; except Jumper, Boxer, Ducato, Movano C)

To attach the storage platform to the top of the boxes, simply screw a flat head bolt into the platform rail.

In certain layout configurations, the front of a box may be blocked.
So, you must use a box with a top opening to access its contents.

Drawers can be another solution for storing your belongings.
