The Dining Area of Your Converted Van
At Combeing, our solution is simple. A modular unit (double gas burner system) in our conversion kit allows you to cook indoors on rainy days.
But also outdoors (we recommend this) on sunny days. Just unscrew the module by hand and move it outside to enjoy the sun while cooking a nice meal.
With the module that integrates into our conversion kit, we provide a kit with a regulator and hose, you’ll just need to get a gas bottle (Reference: CampinGaz R904) or two small gas bottles (reference: CampinGaz R901) that fit directly into the module.
Showering in Your Van
This shower is an essential product for your van conversion adventures, offering good autonomy (45 minutes), a smooth flow rate (2.5L/min), and a 15L water jerrycan with faucet for showering or rinsing clothes...
In short, it provides real comfort, as if you were in an RV (for more privacy, you can even invest in a camping shower cabin with removable curtains).
The recharge is done via USB from our battery or your vehicle.
On average, water consumption for one person ranges between 5L and 8L for a shower, we recommend adding an extra water jerrycan to avoid running out of water. We’ve tested and compared several shower systems for van conversions.
Electricity in Your Van
In most vans, when the engine is off, the power supply to the cigarette lighter sockets is cut off. You need to find a solution to ensure you have electricity at all times in your van (to charge your phone, high-tech gaming consoles, or other leisure items, plug in your cooler, etc...).
The go-to products in this case are batteries. A useful and important accessory for your campervan trips, a portable battery is essential when you want to power a cooler continuously or charge your phone, for example.
This battery provides several days of autonomy (2.5 days with a plugged-in cooler + phone recharging), has USB, USB-C, and cigarette lighter outputs, and can be charged via a wall outlet, from the van’s cigarette lighter while driving, or with our foldable solar panel.
The battery includes a booster/separator coupler, a regulator, a charger, and an auxiliary battery. The cost of these individual components separately is more expensive than the portable battery we offer.
Keep Your Food Cool with a Cooler
There are many types of coolers available on the market (thermoelectric, absorption/tri-mix, and compression models, to name a few). We’ve chosen the cooler that meets our criteria (low consumption, adjustable temperature, compatible with our kit...): the compression cooler from Dometic. This cooler for van conversion is great because it is perfectly complementary with our conversion kit.
Its main strength is keeping food cool, but in our kit, it can also serve as a seat since the Dometic compression cooler is 40cm high, the same height as our modules.
It can also be fixed to our floor with mounting rings.
This cooler consumes about 5 times less than an electric cooler (0.75Ah for a compression cooler vs. 5Ah for an electric cooler), and the temperature is adjustable from -15°C to +10°C.
Enjoy Privacy with a Portable Toilet
We previously had dry toilets without separation between solid and liquid waste.
We now offer dry toilets with a separation system (plastic bag with sawdust on one side, container for liquid waste on the other), which greatly reduces bad odors.
Portable and easy to carry as they fit into our modules.

Useful and Practical Accessories and Equipment for Your Van Journeys
Insulating Your Van
Based on our tests and experience, the best insulation for vans is spray cork. It offers important benefits for van life:
- Thermal insulation: Thermal conductivity tests have been done at 0.039W/mk (heat transfer rate).
- Acoustic insulation: On sheet metal, the acoustic efficiency is up to 19DB.
- Hygrometric insulation: As it covers the entire bodywork, the cork spray prevents condensation by pushing the dew point outside.
- Lasts for 10 years: Laboratory tests have shown effective insulation for at least 10 years.
This insulation can be applied in several ways:
- Leave your van in our facility (between September and March), where our expert will work on your van for 4 to 5 days with the following steps:
- Protecting the exterior bodywork
- Removing all wood panels (floor, walls, ceiling)
- Cleaning the body and chassis (using a degreaser)
- Applying 2 layers of cork (various colors available)
- Reassembling the wood panels and sanding visible parts
- You can also do it yourself with our spray cork insulation kit.
Washing Hands in Your Van
Nothing is more practical than a portable sink to do dishes, wash fruits and vegetables, brush your teeth, or wash your hands...
Our Boxio sink kit for van conversion is simple and easy to use. The principle is simple and does not require electricity (just press the hand pump to bring in water). The sink has a separator with two containers: one for 5L of clean water and another for 5L of waste water.
You can also slide this Boxio sink into our modules as shown in the picture.
Taking Your Bike Everywhere
This unique solution we offer is an adjustable bike rack suitable for various types of bikes (mountain bikes, e-bikes, road bikes...) that is compatible with our conversion kits, as the bike rack attaches directly to our van floor using wing nuts (no tools needed, it’s all done by hand).

Lighting for Your Van Conversion
This rechargeable camping lamp offers a long-lasting battery up to 168 hours! You can adjust the brightness depending on the mood, and it can serve as a fixed light by magnetizing it to the van body or hanging it, but it can also be used as a flashlight with a narrower beam.
Recharge via USB-C (between 4h and 5h), the camping lamp recharges even your small devices like phones.

Really great, the team is really cool, the products sold (sports kit for VW T6 for me) are really great (but I didn't doubt that, I had already planned everything thanks to their website, but with their advice I made some changes that suit me better).
